This remodel focused on answering a familiar question in a 2001 home: how to update golden oak without losing its character. By thoughtfully blending old and new, the kitchen, laundry and mudroom, and bathrooms were refreshed without tearing everything out. Original red oak floors were refinished to complement existing millwork, while updated finishes and curated wood tones bring a lighter, more modern feel. The result is a home that feels clean, comfortable, and current—honoring 25 years of history while supporting the rhythms of everyday life.
