Challenge:
Re-do kitchen, create main-floor family room, enlarge cramped master bedroom and bath, refresh home inside and out while maintaining its 1940s character.
Our Solution:
Removed an old screened porch to make way for addition, and an interior wall to open up kitchen and dining area. New addition includes a sunny family room on the main floor, with a spacious master suite upstairs. In the kitchen, new Shaker-style cherry cabinetry, crown molding, honed granite counters and a marble-topped center island exude comfortable, efficient elegance.
