Spring Remodelers Showcase 2024
The McDonald Remodeling team is excited to feature two beautiful projects in the annual Twin Cities Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase this spring. R14 | Mendota Heights, MN
Once again, this family turned to McDonald Remodeling to bring changes to their home. This 1990-built home didn’t serve all members of the family equally due to tight traffic patterns, various floor heights, and closed-in sight lines. Existing issues were cleaned up with bearing wall modifications, removing the sunken floor, and building a better design for the surrounding spaces. Additionally, new windows and doors, an expanded kitchen and mudroom, and fresh finishes throughout were installed and reflect the new beginnings that this home provides. This family is beyond thrilled - you won’t want to miss this one!

Come and see how to make and sample the Bootlegger and Paloma mocktails. These will both be great additions to your summertime Mocktail menu!

This house was the classic example of having underutilized spaces; the homeowners also wanted to create a mudroom. McDonald Remodeling was chosen to solve these issues and make desired updates throughout. The solution was to redefine the living room to the dining room. A new mudroom was created in the old dining room, with the leftover space added to the kitchen. Changes to the main center-bearing wall were also made. New finishes were installed throughout this main level, bringing excitement and charm to the entire space.
