Adding a tile backsplash to your kitchen or using tile creatively in your bathroom can really transform your home. Our design studio is always looking at the latest tiles and trends available, so we thought we’d share!

Encaustic Tile

We are loving these encaustic handmade tiles. You can repeat the pattern or mix them up for an eclectic look.

Check out one of my favorite blogs, Remodelista, for more on this trend.

Neutral Tile

If bold color and pattern isn’t your style, there are tons of other choices. I also love the impact of using a neutral tile with lots of  texture. A top tile trend mixes earthy stone inspired tile and concrete look tile. This look is modern but warm.

Here’s an example of a bathroom where  we installed a concrete look tile in a monochromatic palette for a calm, spa vibe.

Glass Tile

Another material I love to use is glass tile. There are so many options in glass:  mixed colors, random shapes, polished or matte…

Glass is a material that plays well with others so it is fun to mix with stone, metal and texture. The glass reflects light and makes spaces sparkle!

Traditional Tile

While tile can be modern and eclectic,  I still love the look of the classics (hex shaped, basket weave and subway) for a more traditional style.

Whatever style home you have, there is a tile that can enhance your space. Need some out of the box ways to use tile? Check out Remodelista for ten more creative ways to use tile.
