The perfect season for remodeling is upon us and the great news is it’s getting longer!

Mark Seeley, University of Minnesota Extension climatologist, was quoted recently in the StarTribune saying, “I think it’s universally recognized that in our lifetimes the falls are getting longer.” You can see evidence of it as yellowing leaves are already starting to fall onto the yards around the Twin Cities even as we are still experience temperatures still in 90s. This weather is great for remodeling. The dry air and little precipitation allows projects to move along more quickly then in other seasons. Using the weather to your advantage is just one more way to minimize outside factors that could delay your project.

The national Climate Prediction Center’s forecast for Minnesota shows a good likelihood of warmer-than-normal conditions for September through November, making this year’s fall possibly an even better time to get your home just the way you’d like before you endure a cold winter stuck inside.

Some may think it will start to get too cold soon to start a project, but that’s simply just not true. Let us worry about the weather and you won’t have to. We’ll make sure your project gets done in a timely manner and we’ll keep Mother Nature out if necessary. Anything is still possible from a second story addition, a kitchen expansion, to a complete lower level transformation.

With the great financing available from lenders and the extended fall it’s a great time to get your project done. You might even want to think about converting that three season porch into a cozy four season room that you can begin to enjoy this winter too.
